Newburgh Civil Rights Attorney
A Lawyer Representing Victims of False Arrest and Police Abuse
Unfortunately, sometimes the very people entrusted to protect our citizens abuse this role. People may be arrested without good reason. Or police abuse may occur even if a person has been arrested for legitimate reasons. At Cobb & Cobb, lawyer John Cobb represents people who have been victims of police abuse.
If you have a potential civil rights claim, contact us at (845) 565-0500 for a free initial consultation. We handle civil rights cases on a contingency fee plus costs basis.

Taking Action in Police Abuse Cases
When you become a client at Cobb & Cobb, we will help you file complaints with the internal affairs department of your local police force and the Civilian Complaint Review Board. We will also file a notice of claim against the city or town where the abuse occurred.
Because it can be intimidating to be interviewed by the opposing side in a lawsuit, we will go with you to your deposition and investigative interviews with the lawyers representing the police. If you have been a victim of police abuse, please contact Cobb & Cobb for a free initial consultation. We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
